IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Each bride booking our services is required to read these terms & conditions in full, sign and date a copy returning it to us along with your booking form and deposit. Without a signed and dated copy of the terms & conditions, booking form and deposit it could result in the cancellation of your booking.

Wedding planners please make sure the bride signs the terms & conditions, any signed on behalf of a bride cannot be accepted.

Deposit and booking form

A non-refundable deposit of £20 per person must be paid in order to confirm your booking. Cheques made payable to HCT Beauty or Vanessa Rose’Meyer and sent along with your completed booking form plus terms & conditions.

Without deposit, we cannot confirm your booking. The deposit paid will be deducted from your final invoices.

Invoices
Once we have received your deposit, booking form and signed terms & conditions you will be sent a confirmation letter along with invoice(s).
This invoice(s) is subject to change if any changes take place at the time of the trial. The trial invoice(s) must be paid in full at the end of the trial, actual wedding day invoices must be paid one month prior to the wedding day. Failure to do so could result in the cancellation of your booking.

If your wedding is on a Sunday a 15% surcharge will be added to your invoice or Bank Holidays 20% surcharge will be added.

Packages
50% of package invoices must be paid at the end of the trial and the remaining 50% one month prior to the wedding day, again failure to do so could result in the cancellation of your booking.

Trials
Once we have all relevent paper work a member of our team will contact you to arrange the date and time of your trial, this will be arranged for approximately six-eight weeks prior to your wedding day. If you require it earlier, this can be arranged. All members of your bridal party are required to have a trial prior to your wedding day, 20% of trial costs will be added to the wedding day cost for those not having a trial.

Anyone booked for a trial and do not attend without prior notice (min 48 hours) being given, will be required to pay the trial costs for their booking.

Trials usually take around 3 – 4 hours depending on the size of the bridal party. We request that no more than two people observe during a trial unless they are having a trial during the same sitting.

Safety
We request that animals be kept from the working area whilst the trial or actual wedding day is taking place. Young children must be supervised during the trial and actual day; this is due to chemicals and products being used that could cause irritation or danger to animals and small children as well as making trials and wedding days almost impossible to carry out in a calm and comfortable environment.
No responsibility will be taken by us should a small child or animal should they hurt themselves.

Cancellations by you
Cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit. If you wish to cancel your booking once your trial has taken place, four weeks’ notice is required in writing; no refund will be given for the trial if already taken place. Cancellations with less than four weeks’ notice will be required to pay 70% of the actual wedding day invoice.
If you are a late booking with less than four weeks until your wedding day, you will be given 48 hours from the time of your trial to confirm or cancel your actual day without 70% or the actual day being charged.

Cancellations by Blushing Bride
In the event that a member of Blushing Bride is unable to attend your trial due to illness or a personal emergency, your trial will be reschedule to a suitable time for you and your party.
In the event that a member of Blushing Bride is unable to attend your wedding day due to illness or personal emergency, we will try to find a replacement hair or make-up designer to attend that we highly recommend. If we are unable to find cover we will refund your deposit, 50% of your trial and 100% costs of your actual wedding day costs.

We always allow an extra 30 minutes in case of traffic, breakdowns or road closures. We will contact you immediately to inform you of our situation. Should circumstances such as these arise we can not guarantee being to you on time or if at all. These will be classified as out of our control.

Please note should your bridal party cause distress to any member of Blushing Bride at the time of your trial or wedding day we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund.

Date changes
If your circumstances change and you wish to change the date of your wedding, we require a minimum of eight weeks notice. The request must be made in writing from you. We cannot guarantee we will be able to move your booking if you change the date. If we are unable to move your booking this will result in the loss of your deposit as your booking will need to be cancelled. If trials have already taken place this is non-refundable.

Photos
Photos will be taken during your trial (before & after) as well as on your wedding day. Please tick the relevant box below giving your consent to these pictures being used for marketing of Blushing Bride:

o I am happy for you to use my bridal photos on the Blushing Bride website, portfolio and any other marketing material of Blushing Bride
o I am not happy for you to use my bridal photos on the Blushing Bride website, portfolio and or any other marketing material of Blushing Bride

NB Names and personal details will never be disclosed to a third party and will never appear with your photos. Allowing your photos to appear on our website, portfolio and or marketing material will help raise the profile of Blushing Bride. In the event we discover anyone using your pictures other than on the above, we will pass their details to you for you to take whatever action you feel necessary.

Conclusion Form
Soon after your wedding, you will receive a conclusion form from Blushing Bride. This is important to us and we ask all brides to take five minutes to complete this. All feedback positive or negative is important to us as it helps us to deliver a standard to all our future brides.

Timings
Our arrival time for your wedding day will be set at the end of your trial. It allows for up to 30 minutes extra in case of delay due to traffic. Should there be any delay in getting to you we will keep you informed.

Final Touches
On your wedding day Blushing Bride are happy to stay with you until you are ready to leave, time allowing. We are happy to help brides and bridesmaids dress, however this is not part of our service so therefore we must make you aware our insurance will not cover any accidents that could take place. It is the responsibility of the bride or bridesmaids in the event of any accidents.

Mileage
Mileage is chargeable for both trials and wedding days, the first 15 miles from our location is free of charge and will be deducted from the overall mileage. Thereafter a charge of £0.40 per mile will be charged.

Declaration
I have read and understand the terms and conditions set out by Blushing Bride. It is my responsibility to make sure my bridal party abide by the terms & conditions set out above,
I understand that the terms and conditions are in the interest of both Blushing Bride and me.
I have signed and returned a copy to Blushing Bride and have kept a copy for my records.
